This was a super fun cosplay that I pulled together in no more than a couple of weeks, which is CRAZY! The wig is honestly one of the best I've ever made and I am so proud of it, and the rest of the cosplay was so much fun to search for. I love my weird old man!! And of course, everybody loves a couples cosplay.

Dress from Amazon and altered by me, wig from Amazon, skirt is a curtain that I thrifted and altered...

Her hair tie was made out of part of the curtain that I cut off and gathered into a long ruffle, then wrapped and pinned around the bun. To make the skirt, I sewed the curtain together into a big tube and gathered the top, then sewed an elastic in for the waistband. Then, I cut the main dress at about knee level, then cut off the bottom two inches and gathered that down into a ruffle, then cut the middle open and sewed the ruffle in to finish the edges. Finally I just made a simple belt out of some blue fabric I had lying around. It isn't perfect but it's cute!

This one was SUPER cute and fun. I found the above pattern on DrCos and used it as a base, then added a halter top by measuring from my neckline down to where the original neckline sat and filling out from the sleeves in a halter shape. Then I used a short pile fur to add fluff around the hem and a zipper running down the back seam. Then, using scrap fabric, I made boot covers by drawing an outline of either side of my legs on the red fleece, cutting it out a bit larger, then making a long strip of the white fleece, and sewing those together and adding more fluff around the top edge. The boot covers were then worn like socks over the boots and duct taped down for ease (in the future I plan to use velcro, but this was for the ice skates. Then I made gloves using the white fleece and rings using rope cut to the size of my wrists and gold vinyl glued around the rope to cover it.

Vi is one of those cosplays that I hold so close to my heart and therefore I will never consider her "finished". I'm always making improvements to her character, as you can see here, so check back later, I may do another version or an update! Special thanks to Mikey for styling my wig for this shoot!

Fun fact! This wig was originally for Vi (yes I know it's FAR too light pink now) and I had to wash out all of the color I added in order to make it into Nimona! She's a little shorter than I'd like (if I had gotten it new I'd have kept the sideburns longer) but it works just fine. Also, yes I know she isn't done. A victim of con crunch!
